Lenzing™ EcoVero™ Environmentally Friendly Ecological Viscose Fiber

What Is the EcoVero Fabric

At the Planet Textiles 2017, the Austrian fabric giant Lenzing fiber announced that the launch of the latest environmentally friendly viscose fiber "EcoVero" can greatly reduce the impact on the environment.

EcoVero is made from certified renewable wood sources and produced using ecological processes that meet high environmental protection standards. Lenzing™ Ring Fiber™ brand fiber is designed for sustainable lifestyles and helps create a cleaner environment.

This new type of fiber for women dress wholesale is the latest environmentally friendly fiber developed by Lenzing. Previously, the company has introduced Tencel, Modal and Refibra fibers.

Lenzing believes that EcoVero fabric will set a new industry benchmark for the sustainable development of viscose fiber. The production of EcoVero's new viscose fiber will follow three principles, which are, sustainable wood resources, an environmentally friendly production process, and a 100% transparent supply chain. The main advantage is that it can reduce emissions and water pollution by up to 50% compared to general viscose fiber.

Details of EcoVero Material

1. Sustainable wood resources

Amit Gautam, vice president of global textile business management of Lenzing Group, said: "People tend to think of viscose fiber as an independent market. In fact, viscose fiber for eco clothing like organic denim jacket, forms a multi-layered market at the same time. The top of the sustainable development pyramid is the greenest and clean viscose fiber manufactured by a certain factory, while the bottom is the viscose fiber manufactured by some heavily polluting factories that will be shut down. This type of pollution specifically refers to water pollution, sulfur emissions and waste of wood resources caused by wastewater discharged into rivers. EcoVero can be called the green material at the top of the pyramid. Our wood is certified by the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). In addition, the process of converting wood into fiber is also very important, so our production process focuses on saving energy, chemicals, and water resources."

2. Environmentally-friendly production process

EcoVero eco-friendly viscose fiber by CEF, a reliable women's wear wholesale supplier, also has an Eco EU Label certification, which is a very difficult standard to achieve. EcoVero's emissions and water pollution levels are 50% lower than any viscose fiber found on the market. Eco-EU brand certification is only granted to products that have significantly reduced environmental impact compared with similar products on the market.

3. 100% transparent supply chain

EcoVero is the result of the transparency and traceability of the supply chain, which can be easily identified in the final product. If this is not done, the first two steps are meaningless. We have reformed the manufacturing process. The brand owners and retailers are guaranteed the quality and environmental characteristics of EcoVero eco-friendly viscose fiber.
