What Are the Common Types of Polyester Staple Fiber?

There are many types of polyester staple fibre fabrics. In addition to weaving pure rpet polyester, many products are blended or interwoven with various textile fibres, which make up for the shortcomings of pure rpet polyester and exert good wear performance. At present, rpet polyester fabrics are developing towards naturalising synthetic fibres such as wool, silk, linen, and deerskin.

Ⅰ. Polyester staple fibre silk fabric

Polyester fabrics with natural silk appearance style woven from polyester filaments or short fibre yarns with round and profiled cross-sections have the advantages of low price, anti-wrinkle and non-ironing, and are very popular with consumers. Common varieties are polyester silk, polyester crepe, polyester satin, polyester georgette, polyester interwoven silk, etc. These varieties have the elegant drape, smoothness, softness, and pleasing of silk fabrics. At the same time, they also have stiffness, wear resistance, easy washing and non-ironing of polyester fabrics. The disadvantage is that these fabrics have poor moisture absorption and breathability and are not too cool to wear. More new polyester fabrics have come out to overcome this shortcoming, such as high moisture absorption polyester fabrics.

Ⅱ. Polyester staple fibre fur-like fabric

The polyester staple fibre fur-like fabric is made of polyester filaments such as polyester stretched yarn, polyester network yarn or various shaped cross-section polyester yarns as raw materials, or blended with medium-length polyester staple fibres and medium-length viscose or medium-length acrylic fibres. Wool-like fabrics woven from yarn are called worsted wool-like fabrics and medium-length wool-like fabrics, and their prices are lower than similar wool fabric products. It has the characteristics of fullness, fluffy, and good elasticity of the woollen cloth. It also has polyester features: durable, easy to wash and dry, flat and crisp, not easy to deform, not easy to do fluff, and pilling. Common varieties are: polyester elastic serge, polyester elastic gabardine, polyester flexible strip tweed, polyester web spun wool fabric, polyester viscose mid-length tweed, polyester nitrile hidden strips, etc.

Ⅲ. Polyester staple fibre linen fabric

Polyester staple fibre imitation linen fabric is currently one of the most popular clothing materials in the international clothing market. It is woven into plain or convex weave fabric with polyester or polyester or thick twisted yarn, which has linen fabric's dry feel and appearance. For example, the thin linen-like Monique not only has a rough appearance and a dry feel but is also comfortable and cool to wear. Therefore, it is very suitable for the production of summer shirts and skirts.

Ⅳ. Polyester staple fibre deerskin fabric

regenerated polyester staple deerskin fiber is one of the new types of rpet polyester. It uses fine denier or ultra-fine denier polyester fibres as raw materials. It is specially processed to form a fine short-pile polyester suede fabric on the fabric base fabric. It is called imitation deer. Leather fabrics generally use non-woven fabrics, woven fabrics, and knitted fabrics as base fabrics. It has a soft texture, delicate and dense fluff, fullness and elasticity, deep hand feeling, firmness and durability. There are three common ones: high-grade artificial deerskin, artificial deerskin and ordinary artificial deerskin. Suitable for women's clothing, high-end dresses, jackets, suits, etc.
